KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare and various non-governmental organisations today held an awareness rally to mark the fifth National Day Against Human Trafficking in the Capital with the slogan ‘Our Common Campaign, Full Stop to Human Trafficking.’

Ananda Raj Pokharel, secretary at the ministry, said awareness programmes were crucial in combating trafficking.

Maiti Nepal chair Anuradha Koirala and Charimaya Tamang of Shakti Samuha were felicitated at the programme.
