Eva Longoria Parker is taking time off her busy A-list schedule for some charity work. The Desparate Housewives actress is in Paris to organise a fund-raising dinner gala at the hotel Le Meurice. Her NBA star husband Tony Parker is ambassador for the Make-A-Wish Foundation France, which grants "wishes" to terminally ill children. "If you're human beings on this earth it's your responsibility to be involved in some sort of philanthropy. It's not because we're famous or because we're celebrities that we do this," Longoria Parker said. Among items to be auctioned off at the dinner gala are a day with the actress on the sets of Desperate Housewives, a day with Tony Parker at a San Antonio Spurs basketball match, and a private tennis lesson with a renowned player.
